CEO & Founder
Mark Freedman is a strategy consultant and former national security official who has spent his career advising senior government and corporate leaders on global threats. Mark is a trusted advisor to Fortune 500 and multinational companies and has worked with virtually every national security agency, including the DOD, FBI, and Intel Community. For almost a decade, Mark was a strategic planner for the State Department where he served as Chief of Staff to the Ambassador-at-Large for Counterterrorism. Mark has also worked in Big 4 strategy consulting helping client organizations build security programs. Mark is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a member of the ASIS Steering Committee on Enterprise Security Risk Management.

Rick Mercuri
Senior Advisor for Corporate Security
Rick Mercuri has served as senior security executive at two of the largest U.S. banks. Throughout four decades in the corporate security world, Rick has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic decision making for global and domestic organizations. Rick is a trusted advisor to C-level executives and considered a thought leader with expertise in mitigating complex physical security risks and developing threat intelligence capabilities. Rick was appointed to advisory forums at Pennsylvania State University and Roger Williams University to contribute to the development of academic programs in global security and intelligence. Rick is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

Senior Advisor for Global Affairs
Ambassador Jake Walles provides deep insight into emerging global issues and how they could impact U.S. businesses. Amb. Walles was a career Foreign Service Officer for over 35 years. He served as Ambassador to Tunisia, Consul General in Jerusalem, and Deputy Chief of Mission in Athens. In the Department of State, he also served as Senior Adviser on Foreign Fighters in the Bureau of Counterterrorism, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau for Near Eastern Affairs, and Special Assistant to the Under Secretary for Economic Affairs.

He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization Minorities in Cyber Security. Ted Singer
Special Advisor for Olympics Security
In anticipation of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, Ted Singer is leading a dedicated team of senior officers recently retired from the U.S. intelligence community to provide unrivaled insights to Rebel clients seeking to mitigate risk exposure during the Games. Ted served five times as CIA Chief of Station in strategic locations in Europe and the Middle East and in executive positions in Washington DC. As field commander, he had operational control of counterterrorism cooperation, intelligence support for major events and high-profile summits, and partner engagement to identify and thwart foreign interference and cyber attacks. Over a 35-year career, Ted received national recognition, including Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal (2020), Director of Central Intelligence Agency’s Award (2019), and Director of National Intelligence’s Award for Leadership (2016). He has proficiency in French, Arabic, and Turkish.
